TransEpiscopal

Transfaith is delighted to announce our formal partnership with long-time friends and colleagues at TransEpiscopal.

"As transgender visibility is growing in the world, we know that there is so much cultural change work left to be done," says co-founder and long-time TransEpiscopal leader, Donna Cartwright, "We are excited for this opportunity to be growing in deeper relationship and collaboration with both Transfaith as well as with the other Organizational Partners."

TransEpiscopal was founded in 2005 and continues to function as an all volunteer organization. TransEpiscopal is a group of transgender Episcopalians and significant others, families, friends and allies dedicated to enriching spiritual lives and to making the Episcopal Church a welcoming and empowering place that everyone truly can call our spiritual home. They have led the way to significant policy advances within the Episcopal Church, while providing mutual support for trans Episcopalians and their significant others, families friends and allies.

"TransEpiscopal is joining our Organizational Partners structure at an exciting time," says Transfaith Executive Director, Chris Paige, "as we are looking to deepen our work together through both training opportunities with transgender leadership and also through broader educational efforts in the Transfaith Institute. We are really working to deepen our work together through both training opportunities with transgender leadership and also through broader educational efforts in the Transfaith Institute.
