Tabernacle United Church (Philadelphia, PA)
Tabernacle United (or “Tab” for short) has been a beloved community for Transfaith co-founder, Chris Paige, since 1994 and has provided many significant resources for Transfaith through the years.
Transfaith’s 501(c)(3) is actually repurposed from the Interfaith Working Group which was previously led by other Tab members, Barbara and Chris Purdom from 1995-2005. Tab has also served as Transfaith’s legal address as some points on our journey.
Tab includes Transfaith in their annual mission giving, and has also invited Transfaith to provide sermons and lead adult education on several occasions,.
