Enzi Tanner is a Black American transgender Jew. Professionally, Enzi serves as a case manager working with people affected by HIV/AIDS. He has been a member of the Brown Boi Project and has served on several national boards. He has also worked with homeless youth services for the past six years. Enzi is a member of Shir Tikvah, a reform synagogue in Minneapolis. When Enzi is not working or studying he spends his time cooking or hanging out with friends and their children. Enzi believes life is a journey that is best lived through exploration, curiosity and wonder. He has committed his life to community organizing in areas of intersections, in particular where issues of race, gender, sexuality, faith and economic justice collides.
